Brisbane Innovation Scorecard

Brisbane Marketing in collaboration with Deloitte, The University of Queensland Business School, Brisbane City Council, Department of Employment, Economic Development and Innovation (DEEDI) and Enterprise Connect presents the Brisbane Innovation Scorecard.

The objective of the Innovation Scorecard is to measure innovation within the city’s businesses and its effect on their growth, productivity and the region’s economic prosperity.

Now in its second year, the scorecard uses world-leading methodology developed at the Judge Business School at Cambridge University and is also being used in an international innovation survey in the UK and New Zealand.

The Australian part of the survey is being conducted in partnership with, Cambridge University, The University of Queensland Business School and Queensland Government, with the greater-Brisbane segment of this national survey comprising of nearly 400 firms. This sample represents typical Brisbane businesses in terms of size and industry.

The Scorecard recognises and profiles companies, businesses and individuals committed to excellence in innovation and their contribution to Brisbane’s long-term economic growth.

The Brisbane Innovation Scorecard will be officially launched at the Lord Mayor’s Leaders of Innovation event as part of Enable2011 on July 21.
